DeNet Storage is decentralized cloud storage for photos, videos, documents, backups, and other files. Your files are encrypted on your device, split into fragments, and distributed across independent storage nodes called Datakeepers.
Traditional cloud storage is operated by a single provider, even when it uses multiple servers or data centers. In DeNet, encrypted file fragments are stored by independent Datakeepers, while the DeNet Storage Protocol coordinates their distribution and availability. This removes dependence on any single company, server, or point of failure.
Your files remain available. They are not stored on a single node: encrypted fragments are distributed in multiple copies across independent Datakeepers. If one node goes offline, the protocol detects it and automatically creates replacement copies of the affected fragments on other nodes.
Your files can only be decrypted with your encryption keys. Encryption takes place on your device before upload, so neither DeNet nor Datakeepers can view their contents. DeNet does not store or recover your encryption key. Keeping it safe is your responsibility, and access cannot be restored if the key is lost.
Yes. DeNet Storage is available on mobile and desktop. Sign in to the same account to access and manage your files across supported devices. Your storage stays synced, so files uploaded from one device are available on the others.
Yes. In the mobile app, you can automatically back up photos and videos. In the desktop app, you can select folders for automatic backup. All files are encrypted before upload and accessible from both mobile and desktop.
A one-time payment adds prepaid storage balance to your DeNet account. There are no recurring monthly or yearly subscription fees. Your balance is consumed based on how much data you store, and you can top it up whenever needed.
GAS represents your prepaid DeNet storage balance and is consumed based on the amount of data stored. 1,200 GAS provides 1 TB of storage for one year. The minimum charge is based on 100 GB of storage, which consumes 10 GAS per month.
Your storage period begins when you upload your first file, not when you purchase storage.
Upload and download speed depends on your internet connection, device, file size, and current network conditions. DeNet Storage is designed for everyday files such as photos, videos, documents, backups, and large archives.
